CJ has been teaching tennis for over 4 years. Before coming to Hebron Highschool in 2007, CJ started working for the Oak Creek Tennis Center in 2006 as a resident tennis pro. Prior to this CJ served as the head pro and the director of operations at the Grand Island Racquet Center in Grand Island, Nebraska.

While directing the junior and adult tennis programs at the Racquet Center, membership increased by 200 percent. CJ also directed the Park and Recreation Summer Tennis Program in Grand Island where the program served over 250 participants each summer.

As a tennis player, CJ won three state championships at the Nebraska High School Tournament. Given the opportunity to participate in college as a basketball or tennis player at the Division I and II level, CJ chose the basketball path. As a result, CJ competed professionally in basketball in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
